The Drama League advances the American theater by providing a life-long artistic home for directors and a platform for dialogue with, and between, audiences.

Kashif are community-based content creators with a lens focused on incubating, financing, and producing with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, gender non-conforming, and disabled filmmakers. Kashif House, a production company, aims to combine well-told stories with world impact and awareness around today’s most vital issues.

We work with our partner organizations to provide a strong, multigenerational, inclusive forum for all voices. We are building the groundswell moving towards equality.

Reel Works matches teens 1:1 with professional filmmaker mentors to tell their stories and have their voices heard. I developed and implemented the 2020 fundraising plan, including directing, planning, and coordinating 6 events leading up the tentpole annual fundraising event. My work secured unrestricted funding, acquired new donors, and cultivated past donors, meeting defined benchmarks. I oversaw the administration of the donor database, and managed the communication and relationships with institutional donors as well as prospective donors. I also identified potential major donors and implemented a major donor stewardship strategy. I managed coordinators, grant writers, and the administrative team while also preparing materials and regular reports presented to key stakeholders –– the Executive Director and the Board of Directors.

The Producers Guild of America is a non-profit trade organization that represents, protects and promotes the interests of all members of the producing team in film, television and new media.

I developed, managed, and executed a comprehensive long-term strategy for resource and community development. I created communication strategies, with measurable goals and objectives, that met PlayCo’s annual operating requirements, laying the groundwork for increasing contributed and earned revenue. I also served as a principal public voice of the organization in order to maximize community engagement and ensure dynamic brand management. Notable events included the Spring Gala, where I raised $180,000, and the Fall Benefit, where I raised $50,000. In total, I raised over $700,000 in one fiscal year.

The Studio Museum in Harlem is the nexus for artists of African descent locally, nationally, and internationally and for work that has been inspired and influenced by Black culture. It is a site for the dynamic exchange of ideas about art and society.
