I used to be a just a customer at my local Barnes and Nobel until I started throwing Nook Owners Back in January of 2010 to go along with my website www.Nookowners.com for people who love Barnes and Nobles store and products. After my meeting people would go pre-order nook right there on the spot.(First Nook Owners Meeting http://www.rashadglover.com/?page_id=9 )I was soon approached by the local store manager about this new position that was being created. After His the third request I left my I.T. job (of 6 years) and jumped into the Digital Sales arena. We are now the #3 (140 stores) in our region and #1 in our district for nook sales. My ability to transfer my enthusiasm for Nook allow me and my team to sell more nooks than larger stores in my region.I also create and present presentation to the local business about the nook. People purchase nooks from us because we have a great product and the fact that I can prove I loved the product before I even worked for the Barnes and Noble. My dream is to maybe move up the Barnes and Nobel ladder and work with the device and software design groups. My background is in Industrial Technology and Business and I'm one class away from my Masters Degree in Business Management. I was trained to understand business minded people and engineering skills. My hobbies include making prototypes with my 3D printer and my CNC Machine at home ,3D Modeling (CAD), and blogging about the Nook. I have the ability to draw and build what ever I dream up.
