Search Services Divlet, Geographical and Editorial Tools GroupResponsible for gathering product and technical requirements; and developing scalable search applications using Java, PERL, and C++. Internal clients included Digital City, Government Guide, and Netscape.• Integrated LocalEye’s geographical coding technology into AOL’s core search infrastructure, enabling AOL companies to develop geographically based search services, which created new revenue opportunities.• Developed version 1.0 of AOL’s Site Management Tool drastically reducing the time required to create and publish search engines. • Developed the technical requirements for our Editor Management System, providing a unified login and permissions management infrastructure for our Editorial Tools Suite.
