During my 10+ year career in the Insurance industry, I have worked in several different rolestruly becoming a student of the business and building my skills. As an Underwriter I sharpened my data collection, risk analysis, decision making and negotiation skills. I also participated in projects to enhance the underwriting process as well as provide training to lower level team members. I have a passion for learning, I have taken advantage of opportunies to cross train and participate in projects outside of my department in Service, helping with implementations. My role as an Enrollment Consultant has allowed me to add to my product knowledge become versed in Voluntary products. I also earned my Life and Health license in this role. I am responsible for providing excellent customer service by ensuring our customers have a favorable enrollment experience. I speak with customers face to face, train and coach Benefit Counselors, create and deliver presentations. In this role, I have developed skills in project management and process improvement (investigation, mapping, requirements). I have taken courses through Integrity Solutions to develop exceptional communication skills.I am interested in a position that challenges me by allowing the opportunity to use bothmy analytic skills and ability to interact with both internal and external partners.
