PROJECT: Investigation of the quality of bus route level passenger Origin-Destination flows using Wi-Fi detection from mobile device.• Conducted Origin-Destination data collection using flash card and Wi-Fi signal detection device simultaneously.• Statistically analyzed, compared and evaluated the quality of the OD data obtained from Wi-Fi signal detection device. PROJECT: Level of Service (LOS) determination at multiple signalized intersections on a corridor of N High St.• Collected vehicle count, turning movement count, vehicle classification count, pedestrian and bicycle count data at the signalized intersections within project jurisdiction.• Analyzed collected data using synchro to determine timing, queue, delay and LOS of the intersections.PROJECT: Capacity and Level of Service (LOS) analysis at a segment on I-71 near Columbus, OH.• Analyzed loop detector data with MATLAB to obtain volume, headway, speed and classification. • Determined capacity, density and LOS on ramp influence area using HCM 2010 and Highway Capacity Software (HCS).• Determined capacity, density and LOS on basic highway segment using HCM and HCS.PROJECT: Class project on Travel Demand Modeling for a small road network using TransCAD• Used gravity model for trip distribution analysis.• Analyzed Mode choice using binary and multinomial Logit model.• Performed User equilibrium and System Optimal trip assignment using TransCAD.

PROJECT: Assessment and Modification of Road Design and Pavement Standards of RHD • Suggested scopes of updating and modification of existing road design standards of RHD. • Led a team to collect Traffic and Geo-technical data and conducted focus group discussions all over the Bangladesh. • Collaborated in data analysis using VISSIM and EXCEL, report writing and presentations.
