Project Manager for Dubai South Residential District

The development MBR Garden Dubai Hills is a high-quality state of the art residential community with world class amenities and open spaces and Golf Course. This project is developed by Emaar in JV with MeerasThis development is part of a larger master development of Mohammed Bin Rashid Estate in the Emirates of Dubai. The development is proposed on 1069.3 hectares with an estimated population of 77,381 residents. The proposed development features a fully planned community with residential villas, town houses apartments and support amenities including mosques, schools, club house, golf course, parks and open spaces for active and passive recreation and a mall, day care, hospital and restaurants.My duties involve the following:• Managing the Construction supervision team for MBR Garden Dubai Hills.• Coordinate on daily basis with the Client and resolve any outstanding issues.• Run weekly progress meetings with the Contractor.• Run weekly design meeting with the designer and Master Planner.• Ensure that Construction activities are carried out in accordance with specifications and authorities requirements.• Ensure that Clients plans for the phased development are carried in timely manner.• Ensure that all works are well coordinated between the Contractors on site.• Receive and disseminate information/ correspondence to the concerned parties.• Prepare and issue Project Management Plan.• Run weekly meetings with the team.• Ensure that Health and Safety procedures are adhered to.• Ensure that the works are carried out to the QA/QC plan.

I am the Infrastructure Manager of the PMC Parsons's team, the project involves the construction of Potable Water network and two reservoirs, Sanitary Sewers network with two pump stations, Stormwater network, Power supply network ( MV, LV and substations), street lighting, telecommunication ducts, irrigation ducts, and roads works for South Shamkha Development which is nearly 4000 hectares. - Managing and resolving all technical issues in coordination with the Design Consultant, the Construction Supervision Consultants and the Contractors.- Coordinate with the authorities and facilitate the resolution of outstanding issues/ approvals.- Manage the coordination between the 4 Contractors on site and resolve any obstacles/conflicts at the interface points between their lots.- Ensure that all authorities approvals are obtained and the authorities specification and requirements are being met.- Run and manage weekly technical meetings with the designer, CS consultant and Contractor for each Lot, in addition to a Bi-weekly coordination workshops to resolve any technical or coordination issues.

Although I have a wide experience in project management which covered different facets of civil engineering, during the last three years i have been managing a design team for Sadiyat Project - Abu Dhabi. This involves: - Complete the design of all utilities for Saadiyat Island - Abu Dhabi which is 2700 ha island, where three major muesuems will be built (i.e. The Louvre, Guggenhiem and Zayed National Museum). The utilities covers, potable water network, sanitary sewer network, stormwater network, power supply network, district cooling, irrigation network, gas and tellecommunication. The design also covered three ground storage tanks with 110,000 cum with pump station that will cater for the island demand. - Coordination with authorities and obtain approvals. - Coordinate with othe consultants and developers regarding the utilities demand. - Provide design support during construction. - Monitor progress and meet target dates.
