• To provide line management functions for the Network Group’s resources in the region and act as primary interface with MTNN management for technical/engineering responsibility and authority within a region• Represent NWG on technical, business and regulatory matters in the region• Oversee the activities of the Managed Services Vendors in the region and ensure delivery of set quality targets for the region• Understanding the telecommunication industry local trends and developments in order to assess the impact on MTN’s current and future business. • Design, plan and maintain guidelines/standards from centralized functions and translate into executable activities with regional staff. • Develop and produce reports to evaluate/benchmark regional performance in accordance with Network Group guidelines.• Implement procedures, processes and systems to track and monitor Network service quality and customer-service standards within the region. • Lead weekly review meetings with Vendor ensuring all activities within the scope are carried out as stated in the contract. • Ratify KPI exclusions claimed by Vendors. • Rate vendor performance and indicate areas of improvement as well as timelines for improvement. • Own end to end network and customer experience KPI's within the region. • Liaise with regional marketing and S&D to correlate network performance with business performance.• Facilitate and support Inter department collaboration / interface with other Network Group divisions within the region. • Monitor network performance and configuration to ensure conformance with formulated performance strategy and KPIs • Support annual/quarterly regional business plan and site planning • Represent MTN on all technical issues in the region in collaboration with Corporate Services. . My responsibilities includes supervising MSV deliverables across more than 700 BTS sites. These include treating their non-routine claims; provide insight on grey areas in their monthly active and passive invoices, performance monitoring, ensuring adherence to SLA’s. I also drive access nodes (BTS) Kip’s. I apply penalties based on contract when necessary and do random site inspection to ensure both MTN and regulatory standards are met. I recommend new process when necessary and provide the needed support to ensure both partners deliver on set objectives. I also track network assets and ensure proper asset tracking and data validation. ACTING REGIONAL TECHNICAL MANAGER (July 2014, October 2014, July 2015): Direct the execution of the MSV activities within the region. Provide leadership for the regional operational teams, daily and weekly regional operations performance feedback. Performance analysis and ensuring the regional operations aspect of the MSV is properly executed so MTN objectives are met. Organize regional weekly governance meetings with MSV and other internal and external stakeholders. Provide the needed support in ensuring all projects are properly executed within defined timelines with minimal downtime on the network.

• Maintenance of Generators, Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVR), Alarms, and to ensure all configured alarms work seamlessly and communicates effectively with PNN’s Network Operating Centre (NOC). • Maintenance of Emerson, Grintek and Actura Rectifiers, Rectifier Modules, Operating the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Lovarto RGK 60 on sites and carrying out Preventive checks on operators equipments on site.• Liaise with Major contractors, Sub-Contractors and all Operators on site.• Manage all Site activities, Prepare site reports as regards all daily and major events on sites.• Check and accept servicing parts and materials for the Generators and make sure it conforms to the required specifications.• Ensure that all alarm responses and are within the Service Level Agreement (SLA), ensure quick response to alarms, rectify and repair any fault as required.• Co-ordinate all site engineers and make sure they report and respond to all site issues dully, aid on any pending issues and proffer solutions.
