An experienced STEM educator who is passionate about children's total development in learning and in character. A safety, health and environment, ESG and sustainability advocate who cares deeply about taking families out of poverty by providing sustainable in-demand skills to underprivileged children thereby giving them decent life and livelihood.Rasheed is a Senior Chemistry Teacher at Idi-Araba Senior High School, Mushin and a Tutor at the School of Foundation Studies, University of Lagos. He holds two Master's Degrees in Chemistry and Educational Management from the University of Lagos and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from University of Ilorin. He is a first class graduate of the QHSES Leadership Academy. He also holds an International Executive Diploma in Disaster Management from La Plague Meta Verse. He is a certified ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) Lead Auditor.In August, 2023, Rasheed founded the Grade Edge Academy - a tuition-free social innovation academy that trains underprivileged secondary school students in STEM, IT & digital, TVET and leadership skills. He is currently running a remedial online Chemistry classes for over 250 students across Nigeria in order to improve science education, especially among girls.Rasheed is a volunteer with the Centre for Excellence in Leadership and Innovation (CEIL), Disaster Volunteers International (DVI), First Aid Services Nigeria, and Boy's Scout of Nigeria.He is a member of the Quality and Management System Auditors Institute (QMSAI), QHSES Leadership Academy Alumni, Teachers' Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN), Chemistry Teachers' Association of Nigeria (CHETAN), Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Institute of Chartered Chemists of Nigeria (ICCON) and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).Rasheed is an excellent communicator, an active listener, a lifelong learner and a people-centric individual. He demonstrates self leadership and empathy.His hobbies are: spending time with his family, embarking on Continuous Professional Developments (CPDs) with his colleagues and watching football.
