I have worked as a mentor in the mentoring program of the "Entrepreneurship Capacities Enhancement for Sustainable Socio-Economic Integration (ENHANCER)" project, which was funded by the European Union's delegation to Turkey and implemented by the ICMPD Turkey Representation, with the coordination of the General Directorate of Development Agencies.Within the scope of the project, mentoring sessions will be held with entrepreneurs in Turkey selected from various sectors such as food, furniture, innovative and high-tech value chains, machinery, shoemaking, and textile. The provinces targeted by ENHANCER are Adana, Ankara, Bursa, Gaziantep, Hatay, Istanbul, Izmir, Kayseri, Konya, Mersin, and Şanlıurfa.My mentoring sessions covered main areas such as R&D, innovation, and new product development, as well as grants, funds, and investment resources. The joining to the technological zones and its advantages were also some of the important topics that I gave mentoring about.Most companies to which I provided mentoring obtained excellent results immediately, represented by gaining grants from national and international organizations (SEECO Project for example) in addition to benefit from tax breaks and exemptions in the technological zones. Moreover, the training I provided on the electronic portals contributed to revealing some financial and administrative weak points in some companies, which led to increasing their chances of obtaining grants and support.

I have presented mentoring and guidance to about 70 companies in seven Turkish states Istanbul, İzmir, Mersin, Adana, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, and Hatay. The company types included the most three important types of companies which are incorporated (Anonim), limited, and individual ones. The companies’ specializations varied between technology, programming, e-commerce, machinery manufacturing, logistics services, transportation, furniture, textiles, agriculture, and food. Emphasis was also placed on diversity, as many companies were completely owned by women or had women as partners.Areas of mentoring and guidance: Access to grants, support, and aid from state institutions such as KOSGEB and İŞKUR, international organizations such as the International Labour Organization (ILO), and local organizations such as SENED. In addition to working on portals related to the business ecosystem in Türkiye, such as the Digital Tax Office (Dijital Vergi Dairesi) and the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (İstanbul Ticaret Odası: İTO).Many of the companies to which I provided mentoring obtained excellent results, represented by gaining grants from national and international organizations besides support from governmental foundations, and internal and external contracts, in addition to increasing exports and increasing number of sales. Furthermore, the training that I gave on the electronic portals contributed to increasing networking opportunities and getting to know potential competitors or suppliers.

"Innovation for All" project, was implemented between April and May 2024 at the Mersin Technopark. This project was carried out by Mersin Teknopark and funded by the European Union in coordination with the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and the General Directorate of Development Agencies of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. The main benefits of the project are accelerator training, mentor support, networking meetings, IFA co-working Space, prototyping support, multimedia studio utilization, and PR support.I got an honor as a result of my distinguished work as a mentor and jury member in that project; where I gave mentoring to 21 entrepreneurs (Three-quarters of them are women and youth) on several important topics in entrepreneurship such as access to finance and business plan. Besides that, I contributed as a jury member in the arbitration of more than 100 entrepreneurial projects submitted by Turkish and Syrian participants.

"WePower Women Entrepreneur Training Program", carried out in cooperation with the United Nations Organization for Migration (IOM) and Mersin Technopark. It supports Turkish Citizen and Syrian entrepreneur teams residing in Mersin and Adana who aim to establish an enterprise or develop their existing business in the following sectors: IT, agriculture, food, and textile.My mission included four essential roles: 1. Peer-to-peer mentor (online).2. Peer-to-peer mentor (face-to-face). 3. Lecturer in the field of getting funds for start-up projects.4. Jury member.
