Network & Security Engineer (Outsourced by Tech Mahindra)Client: Al Ain City Municipality (Al-Ain City Municipality is one of the three municipalities of the Department of Municipalities and Transport provides municipal services in Al Ain City)●Managing complete Network-Security operations for the client- Department of Municipalities and Transport Al Ain City (3 Major Offices, 26 remote locations, 3000+ Employees)●Maintain and administer IT Infrastructure, Network & security systems like Huawei Agile Controller (SDN), Firewalls, Proxies, Mail Gateways, Load balancers, Identity Service Engines, Access control system, Enterprise Routers and Switches, Wireless Controller, Campus Network of approx. 500+ nodes.●Administration of Forcepoint 3100, 1100 Series, Cisco FTD-4110, ASA 5508-X configuring security policies and rules, based on the business requirement.●Administration of Symantec Bluecoat proxy S400-20 U5000, (SMC) and creating rules as per requirement ●Configuration and managing of Web Application Gateway and Load balancers (F5-i4600) for hosting services based on the business requirement. ●Implement email security to defend Domain forgery, email spoofing& ransomware protection.●Configuring Gateways (L3) in Campus Core / distribution and VLANs (L2) in access layer switches and configure inter VLANs routing as per the requirement.●Administration of the organization’s Wireless network Infrastructure. (Huawei WLAN AirEngine9700-M, AP4050DN, AP4050DE-M, Cisco WLAN 5500 Series, Cisco WLAN AP Cisco Aironet 1242AG Series, Cisco Aironet 3600 Series) ●Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving daily operational issues like network connectivity, application / services access issues, VPN issues, etc.●Adapt AACM's network security practices and maintain transparent communication with the security operations center (SOC) team.●Co-ordination with NOC for the devices issues and reachability.

ERS 8000 Series, VSP 7000 Series, ERS 4000 Series Campus Network of approx. 100+ nodes.●Responsible for Network operations, Design, deploy and support of the Campus Network for HQ and remote sites offices (VLANs, inter VLAN routing, ACL, Switch stacking, Link Aggregation, Trunk/Uplinks etc.)●Configuring Gateways (L3) in distribution and VLANs L2 in access layer switches and configure inter VLANs routing.●Managed switching related task included implementing VLANs based on the requirements and configuration of Switch stacking and 802.1 Q on fast –Ethernet channel between IDFs.●Execute layer 2 switch port move/add/change (MAC) request and change VLANs.●Planning and managing IP addressing scheme for organization and configuring and managing DHCP server. ●Administration of the organization’s Wireless network Infrastructure (Avaya Wireless WLAN 8100 Series, WLAN AP 8120-E).●Installation, Configuration and Maintenance of various Network Printers like Develop / HP /Canon etc.●Attending day today Network Incident tickets and issues, solving as per the SLA.●Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving network related issues escalated by the EUC support team.●Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented network components.●Any other additional tasks the IT Manger may give and is within the scope of work.
