Monitor all operations and maintenance by establishing standards with the applicable measures, progression specifications, manufacturers’ specifications, Civil Aviation Regulations, customer requirements, and applicable data approved or accepted by the Authority.● Operate as a Safety and Quality Auditor, spearhead and participate actively in the establishment of the Safety Management System and Quality Assurance processes of the company ● Lead internal audit and surveillance of air operations and maintenance activities and programmes as organized on the Audit and time-bound activity tracking software: Q - PULSE.● Amend and update the Safety Management Systems Manual, Quality Manual, etc. in accordance with changes in the organisation and extant regulations. ● Pre-inspect aircraft for issue /renewal of the certificate of airworthiness by the Civil Aviation Authority.● Facilitate highly structured safety risk analysis of new and existing operational activities utilizing the GAEL Risk- SMAL 2 software.● Coordinate well documented Management of Change processes for all new critical activities and operations of the company.● Ensure monitoring of all reported incidents in the company and conduct investigation as required as tracked by the SENTINEL ‘event’ management software.

● Responsible for the Establishment, Documentation and Training on the Safety Management System of the Airline in support of the Safety and Quality Manager.● IATA Certified Trainer for Safety Management Systems.● Conduct Company Wide Training for all operational staff (Pilots, Engineers, Cabin Crew, Ground Operations, Security etc.) ● Secretary for both the Safety Action Group (SAG) and Safety Review Board (SRB) of the Airline. ● Perform Pre-Audit and facilitate Certificate of Airworthiness Inspections for Import; Issue; Renewal and Export of Aircraft in company fleet. ● Implement performance of internal and external quality audits and issuance of reports, corrective actions, investigation, correction, follow-up, closure and documentation of findings.● Accomplish spot checks on practice/procedure to ensure compliance with relevant standards.● Ensure regular review of continuing airworthiness information and revision of publications.● Team member for the development and revision of Company manuals, Safety and Quality procedures and instructions.● Maintaining contact with Civil Aviation Authorities on Safety, Quality and Airworthiness matters.Execute investigations of incidents and accidents to determine cause and issue recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.● Monitor and ensure effective Occurrence Reporting and maintenance of Internal records of all incidents/occurrences.
