Responsible for HR strategy for some of Cerner’s most complex and key growth organizations ranging in size from 500-1500 associates, spanning 10 countries and multiple business models. Consult and advise executives and business leaders on human capital topics to mitigate business risk and maximize results. Collaborate with Finance and business unit leaders to develop and maintain workforce plans in support of business objectives. Indirectly lead and coordinate internal HR teams to accomplish results towards strategic workforce plans.

As an Engagement Leader (Project Manager) in Cerner's nearly 2000 person consulting practice, I was responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and delivering client projects from initiation to delivery. This included indirectly managing the project team and serving as a liaison between Cerner and my assigned clients to ensure all targets and requirements were completed on schedule and within budget and scope. I was also responsible for ensuring Cerner executives were aware of project progress and potential risks. This experience leading the implementation of Cerner's solutions in a hospital and outpatient clinic environment directly added to my healthcare, technical and business skills. I was trained in and leveraged Project Management Institute best practices as well as Cerner's project management approach and tools.In addition to my direct project management responsibilities I was asked to take on a special project as part of a leadership program I was selected for. I shared responsibility for creating and implementing a significant change to our Consulting methodology and the corresponding tool to capture information from project teams leveraging this new methodology.

Developed and led broad strategy for US University recruiting (35+ target schools), including marketing, budget, executive relationships, school selection, internal/external communication, community relationships, and managing a team of 5-8 recruiters. Met with all layers of the organization to determine workforce needs and identify creative ways to meet business objectives for high growth Health IT company.

Cultivated relationships with internal stakeholders, university faculty, and students at key schools in order to market Cerner and attract top Engineering and Business talent.
