Hi my name is Anthony Sherman and I am currently a sophomore student at the Kelley School of Business. My major is accounting and I have future aspirations of minoring in finance and business analytics. Over the past winter break, I worked with a marketing company called Vector Marketing. During my training I was able to learn skills such as using resources to gain my own clientele list, learning how to market an item to a customer, and how to reflect a company’s brand and values through individual presentations with customers. This marketing experience was extremely valuable because I refined my presentation and customer relation skills. I am hoping to continue working for Vector Marketing in the summer and to pursue a managerial level position. One personal interest that I have is quantitative analysis. I want to pursue a career in the future where I can apply this passion and combine it with my customer relation skills.When I think about my personal brand I want to define myself as adaptive, communicative, and quantitative. I view my quality of being adaptive is the most important skill that I have. I never shy away from criticism. I want to always embrace criticism and learn from my mistakes rather than being too prideful to admit my shortcomings. I’m also very communicative and this has helped me in academic, working, and social environments. I love interacting with people and creating and building relationships. Finally, I view myself as a very quantitative person. I love working with numerical databases and constructing or analyzing frameworks for businesses. This quantitative passion is something I want to pursue in the future with a career, as well as engaging my skills in being communicative and adaptive to situations.
