I have always been interested in the sciences, and so I chose to studymathematics at Sudan University of Science and Technology, 2014-2018,because mathematics for me is the queen as well as the servant of theSciences. While studying I became aware of the problem of climatechange.During my one-year course at AIMS Rwanda, I am learning aboutmodelling, especially in the area of climate, as well as strengtheningmy skills in mathematics in general and in programming. (I alsoappreciate getting better at English and in teamwork, and studying inan international environment.)In order to become part of the solution of the problem of climatechange, I feel that I need more knowledge and a better understandingof the issues and methods, and that is why I want to continue to doresearch in Climate Science and to find a way to apply those skills inreal life.
