For the last ten + years I have been a student of public transportation and its symbiotic relationship with our community. I have gained extensive knowledge through international studies, my tenor in both the private and public sector of the public transportation as well as through my graduate degree from San Jose State University’s Mineta Transportation Institute. Consequently, I have been able to build a strong foundation of public policy, labor relations and business development. As the United States transit industry turns towards the expansion of private/public partnerships, understanding the delicate balance of both worlds will be critical in my future evolution.
