Roles and Responsibilities as Deputy Manager – Accounts, Finance & Administration: Manage, control and ensure that company accounting activities and procedures conform to generally accepted accounting principles. Ensure that all financial transactions are handled and processed in-line with the approved policies and procedures. Oversee the daily operations of the finance department. Preparation of the official report of actual expenses for petty cash imprest system. Monitor the actual cash flow against forecast and take the necessary measure to remedy variances.  Managing ERP, posting of vouchers, retrieving of reports and backups.  Establish and maintain cash controls. Review monthly bank reconciliation statements of all bank accounts and update the line manager on its timely compliance.  Ensure timely reimbursement of employee’s expenses. Monitor inventory of office supplies and the purchasing of new material with attention to budgetary constraints. Monitor costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation. Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities and trade persons (e.g. electricians) Organize and supervise other office activities (renovations, event planning etc.) Ensure operations adhere to policies and regulations.
