I provide data science, research, and software development services to Google Global Networking (GGN). In our team, I handle several projects with the general objective of improving and optimizing Google's subsea fiber optic cable systems. I perform intensive data analysis and machine learning model development on several types of data (mainly geospatial data). I also develop APIs, web applications, CLI tools, and whichever computational tools are necessary to achieve our team's general objective. I perform my tasks using Google Workspace, Google Cloudtop, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).My responsibilities span the entire data science workflow including data collection, data cleaning, data exploration, model development, model deployment, and report generation. Finally, it is our team's standard procedure to prepare a full research paper format documentation of every project upon its conclusion.

I was the resident computational chemist and modeling expert of our project, Discovery and Development of Health Products (DDHP) Marine component. I was responsible for the carrying out the project's objectives related to molecular modeling, statistical modeling, and software development. I performed molecular simulations such as peptide docking and molecular dynamics of the Conus peptide toxins (conopeptides) that my colleagues extracted from cone snail venom. I also built regression and classification models and deployed these models as APIs and web apps that can be used by other researchers interested in studying conopeptides.

I was tasked to develop an optimized computational workflow for accurate prediction of conopeptide tertiary structures. Contributions:- performed several simulation techniques to generate data including Monte Carlo sampling (using TINKER MM package) and molecular dynamics (using AMBER MD package).- wrote several scripts and programs in C++ and Python for automation of tasks in data analysis and generation of additional data.- developed a prototype workflow for the prediction of tertiary structures of conopeptides given only their amino acid sequences.- prepared poster presentations, oral presentations, reports, and research papers.

I taught review classes in Mathematics, Physical Chemistry, and Quantum Chemistry for BS Chemistry graduates looking to take the yearly Chemistry Licensure Exams.
