Found an EdTech startup to introduce engineering concepts (3D modeling, electrical, computer, environmental, civil, etc.) to middle school students. Developed an accessibility feature for the Windows 11 File Explorer. Validated with other accessibility features such as narrator and magnifier. Set measurement points for future telemetry.

Experimented with machine learning algorithms and deep learning as methods of statistical analysis to identify patterns in user authentication data from various flight missions (MRO, Psyche, MARS2020, etc.) using Splunk and Pandas. Classification and clustering was implemented for malicious users from this dataset with SciKit-Learn and high dimensionality reduction algorithms (t-SNE) for interactive data visualizations, model validation, and analysis.

Gained introductory experience with digital logic, Verilog, VLSI design, FPGA systems, and machine learning to develop a sensor to measure a circuit chips efficiency and degradation over time with future applications in cyber security. Worked in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department.

Researched the trapping, cooling, and spectroscopy of highly charged ions with the Atomic Spectroscopy Group. Designed and 3D printed a prototype for a new compact Penning trap and optimized a photomultiplier system for a Mini Electron Beam Ion Trap (mini-EBIT). Awarded the 1st place and Most Outstanding Research Poster at the final Poster Session.
