I worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Delhi University, where I have taught courses on Geography and Environmental Science to undergraduate students for over five years. I have a PhD in Geography from Delhi School of Economics, where I focused on land use planning and livelihood options in the flood affected regions of Saran Plain. I also hold a MA in Geography from the same institution, and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (Delhi University).As a Geography educator and researcher, I have published multiple chapters in books published by Springer and other reputed publications. I also have multiple research papers published in the field of disaster management, sustainable development/ agriculture, climate change and flood risk management.I have also obtained a certification on Building Climate Resilience through Ecosystem-based Adaptation Planning from UN Environment Programme, which has enhanced my knowledge and skills on this emerging and important field.
