Presently ranked as Black Belt in Taekwondo I began my training in 1993 in Combat Sports. For nearly two decades I have both trained under and taught alongside many of the finest Taekwon-Do masters such as Leong Wai Meng, Roberto Saenz, B. Rajendran and Rachna Chaurasia.Above all, I am very proud to be one of the final senior students produced by the legendary Rakesh Verma (President IITF). I am one of the India’s most prominent Taekwon-Do instructors. I began my teaching career in Martial Arts in 1999. Besides my own training, I currently teach throughout the week at my Soulfit Dojang and as a guest all over India. A professional instructor, I have coached many students to numerous competitions and grading merits. I have produced numerous senior belts and Dan grades, national and international champions who have competed up to World Championship standard. As a competitor, I am involved in Taekwon-Do tournaments for more than 20 years now. During this period I represented and won at many National & State championships. As a senior Taekwon-Do player I have successfully hosted and organized many National level events as well.I also had the honour of Best National Referee in my cadre as I am a certified National Umpire.I have validated my skills as a serious Martial artist by training many in corporate sector on Fitness and Self Defense.To this day, I continue to practice and study martial arts daily for my personal development. Over the years, it has become my objective to contribute to the advancement of Taekwon-Do in India by adding my own personal knowledge of contempory coaching and new learning methods.I am a strong believer that Self Defense is the need of the hour specially for women. Moreover Martial Art is not only a combat sport but it emphasis on the practitioner's spiritual and philosophical development. Hence it’s a way of life leading to self defense ,health and fitness as well.
