As a seasoned public speaker and trainer, I've spent years honing my skills in public speaking and communication. My journey began at a young age, where I immersed myself in the world of competitive speaking. With over five championship wins under my belt, this early experience granted me a unique edge and perspective, which I've applied in my career within the education and training industry. While pursuing my law degree, my passion for communication led me to more entrepreneurial pursuits. I began work with a start-up dedicated to providing soft skills education (BME Malaysia). Currently serving as the Education Programme Coordinator within the organization, I continue to develop innovative projects and spearhead educational initiatives.While the jump from law to what I do now might seem unexpected, it was an inspired decision.I've always been aware of the challenges facing the education industry and it is unfortunate that it is often overlooked despite its vital role in shaping individuals within our community. Education serves as the cornerstone of personal and societal development, laying the foundation for lifelong learning, critical thinking, and social mobility. As such, my work as a social entrepreneur and educator is in pursuits of making an impact in this area. True to my aim, I've graced no less than 200 events as a speaker and coach and managed projects that have educated an estimated 30,000 students to date.I think that by prioritizing and supporting education, we can empower individuals, strengthen communities, and drive positive social change. It's a collective endeavour that requires the involvement and commitment of all stakeholders within the community, including parents, policymakers, employers, and civic leaders. In acknowledging the pivotal role of education and advocating for its rightful place in society, I believe we can create better and accessible platforms for future generations, one where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and contribute positively to the world around them.
