We run a plant-forward Mexican fast-casual café called Gracias Granny. We are also innovating delicious alternatives to conventional dairy products under the brand Why Not? Both brands have the same central goal: to reimagine the Indian food system by decreasing its reliance on animals. I do a little bit of everything to help make that happen.

Involved with planing, designing, conducting, and managing quantitative research projects to further the organization's mission and establish it as a leader in effective animal advocacy. Created the Farmed Animal Opportunity Index. Additionally, managed the Transfarmation Project, which is currently overseeing the transitions of several animal farmers to plant-focused farming.

Researched the viability of plant-based meat alternatives and cellular agriculture as potential solutions to global environmental, nutritional, food security, and ethical problems. Estimated the willingness to pay for meat alternatives in the context of a developing country with growing demand for meat, India. The research was published in MDPI's journal Sustainability.

Researched the impact of the meat and dairy industries in India--the world's largest exporter of beef and largest consumer of dairy products--on climate change, as well as their impact on water scarcity and food shortage. Tasks involved collecting data from the Indian government through Right to Information (RTI) applications, deriving relevant statistics, and presenting the data in a fashion that enabled laymen to understand these impacts with ease.
