Job Responsibilities1.Overseeing the design and implementation of MEP Mechanical systems in FIT-OUT projects.2.Coordinating with architects, engineers and contractors to ensure that the MEP systems meet project requirements and specifications.3.Understand and study the project specification, Scope of work, LOD, Base Built Drawings, Tenant manuals, Architectural Drawings, Kitchen Supplier Drawings etc. and raise RFI for discrepancies.4.Survey the site for confirming the base built provisions and project feasibility.5.Estimating Detailed Project Cost and Tender stage Estimation for MEP Systems.6.Responsible for preparation of MEP Cost Estimate and MEP BOQ.7.Estimating the cost of project based on clients with pricing which will be competitive in the market.8.Reviewing and submitting MEP system design and plans.9.Ensuring that all MEP systems comply with building codes, regulations and safety standards.10.Find & propose economical solution to the client's requirements by considering the base built provisions, LOD, Tenant Manual, Authority Codes etc.11.Attending meetings with client, consultant, Mall tenant coordinator, Main contractor Engineers to make sure work is in compliance with all their requirement.12.Coordinate with suppliers, sub-contractors etc. for acquiring the best offer price in Market to make comparison and negotiation.13.Negotiating with Suppliers and Subcontractors to reduce project cost.14.Served as a mentor for junior engineers providing technical advice and guidance when needed.15.Providing technical expertise and support to project team members.

Job Responsibilities1. Calculating heat load as per Local authorities requirement using Carrier HAP2. Effectively dividing the plan into zones and finalizing the unit capacities based on heat load calculation and space availability3. Selection of HVAC equipment, complying with project specifications, equipment schedules and design requirements4. Duct sizing using equal friction method or static regain method following standards and available heights using duct sizer5. Chilled water pipe sizing using pipe sizer or charts6. Calculation of external static pressure for blowers7. Calculation of ventilation requirement as per DM and ASHRAE standards8. Calculation of ventilation air balancing for kitchen hood is tabulated with schematic based on the details given by hood supplier complying with local authorities guidelines9. Effectively spacing, selecting the type of sprinkler and pipe sizing complying with UAE FIRE CODE STANDARDS and coordination with the reflected ceiling plan10. Providing fire extinguisher and FHC complying with UAE FIRE CODE and coordination with ID approval11. Preparing plumbing (water supply & drainage) drawing based on the kitchen equipment supplier and the authorities requirements12. Plumbing pipe sizing and calculation complying with Dubai Municipality, DEWA and Local Authorities Standard13. Able to provide mechanical design inline with International standards and local Regulations14. Coordinate all mechanical requirements with other discipline engineers15. Attend design/site meetings including all other meetings with Client and Authorities16. Coordination with the site engineer for the development of design for construction17. Preparing RFI for tender projects18. Preparation of Bill of Quantities of materials for tender and design projects19. Estimating the cost of project based on clients with pricing which will be competitive in the market20. Designed more than 150+ fitout projects in UAE, Qatar,KSA,Kuwait,Bahrain&Oman
