With a passion for mathematics, artificial intelligence and programming, my long term goal is to break new ground in the field of autonomous machines. My academical background is in Complex Adaptive Systems, where I have studied the interplay between order and disorder, the global behaviors emerging from this interplay, and how we can replicate and control such systems, harvesting their potential to solve challenging problems such as optimization, pattern recognition and cybernetic control. A more concrete example of this was my master thesis, where we investigated how communication protocols can be developed from tabula rasa in multi-agent simulations, using Reinforcement Learning. These days, my daily life revolves around making mobile robots take smarter decisions, and develop statistical tools that accelerate the deployment of such automation systems.
