During my time at EuroAds, I led the IT and development projects across various European countries. My role involved handling a mix of tasks each day, ranging from quick, ad-hoc jobs to managing several large-scale development projects. I guided a skilled team consisting of 4 developers and 2 technicians.I also deepened my understanding of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) (GDPR). As part of a dedicated taskforce, we took on the challenge of ensuring the Group complied with GDPR regulations. This was particularly thrilling and complex, given that the company's main product involved marketing leads containing personal data for millions of people globally.The company eventually closed due to bankruptcy.

As CTO of Azero I was responsible for customer support, sales, development and operations. Including staff recruitment and ongoing development. Also in-house maintenance, contract negotiation with suppliers and everything regarding the staff from meals to insurances. Primary functions was to ensure ongoing security by hardening of the IT infrastructure by updating operating systems and its services, monitoring of logs and generally pro-activity by keeping up-to-date with the latest hacks and exploits. A secondary function was to maintain and develop a product portfolio covering everything from off-the-shelf products to custom designed infrastructure. The customer wishes was always in focus and I strived to meet them, as far as they were profitable.The staff, which at its highest counted 11 heads, were all specialists in their own area, whether it was customer service, server administration or software development. Being a small business with a high information level, required day to day management moving resources forth and back.My passion while working at Azero was project management, applying my knowledge and personal commitment, assisting and influence the team in most positive way.My primary focus as project manager was to lead the team and manage the project, along with strong stakeholder management. Understanding this approach has been key to the projects I have worked on.Customer relations also had my interest, from helping with technicalities, to negotiating proposals and contracts to finishing a sale, and then deliver as promised engaging the required department specialists.

A "catch-all" web based C2B portal for any business that depends on customers to book it's services.It is no secret that the project was lengthy and nerve-wracking as the team of founding members was all completely new at startups, and also in managing our own huge and complicated development project.We made all the mistakes you can think of, and the project never got the traction it deserved, eventually the project got shut down.I learned a ton of things along the way, not least how not to make an IT startup business.

IT in an extreme environment, covering everything from before the festival with recruiting staff, planning schedules, setting up headquarters. Getting started with all the wiring Ethernet cabling to the furthest parts of the festival. Setting up hundreds of different festivals department PC's. Maintaining a network and the ADSL and supporting everything while the festival being held, is really a great experience for any IT professional.The IT department had a few specialized groups who mostly did the same thing every year, but a large group of newcomers was tossed into the chaos and needed someone to guide, help and manage them.And by chance, this became my first lead and management experience, from which point kept my interest.Attended 3 years in a row, and 3 times proud club 100 member (Assigned to those who give 100+ hours of work)
