As CTO of Azero I was responsible for customer support, sales, development and operations. Including staff recruitment and ongoing development. Also in-house maintenance, contract negotiation with suppliers and everything regarding the staff from meals to insurances. Primary functions was to ensure ongoing security by hardening of the IT infrastructure by updating operating systems and its services, monitoring of logs and generally pro-activity by keeping up-to-date with the latest hacks and exploits. A secondary function was to maintain and develop a product portfolio covering everything from off-the-shelf products to custom designed infrastructure. The customer wishes was always in focus and I strived to meet them, as far as they were profitable.The staff, which at its highest counted 11 heads, were all specialists in their own area, whether it was customer service, server administration or software development. Being a small business with a high information level, required day to day management moving resources forth and back.My passion while working at Azero was project management, applying my knowledge and personal commitment, assisting and influence the team in most positive way.My primary focus as project manager was to lead the team and manage the project, along with strong stakeholder management. Understanding this approach has been key to the projects I have worked on.Customer relations also had my interest, from helping with technicalities, to negotiating proposals and contracts to finishing a sale, and then deliver as promised engaging the required department specialists.
