Played a major role in the merger of IAK and AAK to form Akademikernes. Major achievements include:1) Creation of the infrastructure for Akademikernes new CRM 2011 solution. This included a SQL Server 2012 cluster for the Sharepoint 2010 document solution.2) Project leader for a new Exchange 2013 solution and subsequent merger of the two Active Directory domains.3) Migration and consolidation of a large number af servers for web sites, ERP systems and HR system.

Participated in several projects focused on improvements in infrastructure and business solutions:1) Project leader for a new front end solution for our data warehouse. This included building a new SSAS cube on top of an Oracle datawarehouse and building a set of report templates in Targit.2) Responsible for creating a new datawarehouse using SSIS and a new cube using SSAS to report on data from our ERP system. Later extended with visualizations to display data on a map.3) Technical lead in the design and implementation of a self-service application for our members. This included specification of the solution, selection of solution provider and overseeing the implementation of the solution in accordance with IAK standards for IT infrastructure.4) Technical lead in the design and implementation of a new intranet solution based on Sitecore Intranet Portal, featuring among things an integration to Yammer.5) Project leader for the upgrade of our Exchange 2003 mail server solution to Exchange 2010. This included a change in solution provider for our encrypted email solution.6) Responsible for the IT security policy in IAK. This included yearly review of the policy itself and the disaster recovery plan as well as examinations by external auditors.

Employed as a member of the IT operations team and responsible for improvements in the IT infrastructure. Some of the highlights are:1) Established client management system to support migration to Windows XP.2) Participated in project to convert servers from physical to virtual (VMWare).3) Project leader for Navision implementation.

Continued the work from the previous position in a start-up company funded by NKT.

Development of processes for deposition and etch of glasses for integrated optical waveguides as well as characterization schemes for the glasses and waveguides. Initially, the work was focused on active waveguides, i.e. waveguides containing core material doped with rare earth metals to achieve amplification of the light. Later the focus changed to passive waveguides without amplification.

Contributed to various projects aiming at fabricating SQUID's in high temperature superconducting materials
