Acting Head of unit of the Collections management unit 50 %.-Delegated duties: plan and hold bi-weekly unit meetings, handle invoices, deal with questions regarding the workspace and the premises, be a part of development of the donations process.-Contribute in the strategic planning and development of the organization together with the ordinary Head of Unit. NLS recently went through a mayor reorganization, which means that we are currently assessing and developing our organizational processes.-Support the employees in the day-to-day work – i.e. help prioritize and advice in specific tasks and work processes.-The job did not include formal budget or personnel responsibility since those aspects of the job cannot be delegated.The other 50% of the job consisted of the following: -Responsible for a pilot study where I mapped out, analyzed the preparation process within the digitization process, and gave suggestions for ways to optimize and improve the process.-Representative for the department in an organization-wide project to draft a new acquisition policy and guidelines for the collection of contextualizing material.
