In my current position I have two areas of responsibility:1)As Head of Press I am responsible for all press activities for Siemens in Denmark. This includes Siemens Wind Power, whose global operations originate in Denmark, where the research and development function is based in Brande alongside the production facility for Europe, Middle East and Africa.Siemens is one of the world leaders in sustainability when it comes to green energy solutions and ways to reduce CO2. Siemens is basing the business plan on the consequences of four megatrends: urbanization, demographic change, climate change and globalization. Obviously this is affecting and shaping the press profile. An important part of the job as press manager is to add the Siemens angle to the public debate in the medias around the consequences of these four megatrends.2)As Nordic & Baltic Communication Business Partner for Wind Power I am responsible for all communication in the Nordic and Baltic countries on Wind Power issues. This includes both internal and external communication and covers all platforms and is also including budget responsibility for the Nordic and Baltic activities.

Peters & Peters was an IT security specialist company delivering solutions to large companies and the public sector in the Nordic countries and England. Half year after I stopped working there, it was bought by the Canadian BorderWare.In the capacity of Vice President of European Communication & Marketing in an English-speaking organisation my most important jobs were:To create strong company communication and design the strategic information platform. To be responsible for all PR activities To customize the communication of our solutions to Peters & Peters key segments.To analyze all communication and all internal processes across the work in the Nordic countries and England. Afterwards all input was to be systemized in order to let the successful processes be repeated and communicated as a uniform message build on a joint vision.To design a large number of written documentation concerning the company’s concepts and solutions. Furthermore to be in charge of more traditional marketing activities on the Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and English market.

Audio Media is Denmark’s large publishing house for IT publications and specialist knowledge. I worked as managing editor in chief and was responsible for all of the publishing house’s feature material, which primarily concerned IT. It was a very strategic job with a significant element of business development.Among my assignments were:In the capacity of managing editor to ensure that the 25 man editorial staff were coming to work motivated every day.To be responsible for the publishing house’s PR activities.To develop the concept for the publishing house’s new homepages and online newsletters.Continuously to develop new magazine concepts. For a period of time to edit and develop the portal www.itsvar.dk

Editor-in-chief and day-to-day manager of the editorial staff at Denmark’s leading IT magazine ”Alt om DATA” and the smaller magazine “Datatid”. I also conceptualized and edited Poker Magasinet for a period.

Protect Data was a very visionary and creative IT company. Today it has changed name to Pointsec. Among my assignments were:To design and implement the platform for internal and external communication.To co-ordinate the marketing and communications activities with the Swedish head quarter as well as the regional offices all over the world and a number of PR agencies.To work determinedly with PR for the Danish market - including the introduction of the digital signature (now NemID) together with TDC.To design and prepare a range of written documentation for supporting the sales work.

The ideal study job. I found material from the copy archives in order to support the journalists’ stories, obtained pictures and did a lot of practical things, which is probably still involved with that job unless everything has become digitalized. For ten years I had the late night deadline shift, and occasionally also wrote footballrelated front page references if the sports editors had left for the day and the sub-editor’s off-the-cuff knowledge within the field was not sufficient – because mine was.

This publishing house holds a lot of titles; not only the IT magazine “Computer Bulletin”, but also cultural magazines and youth magazines. I wrote for all of them. This was where I first learned about deadlines, change of genres, editing and all the other journalistic core disciplines. I was 17 years old when I wrote my first article for the publishing house. When I had written 500 I stopped counting.I wrote more than 250 company portraits of IT and technology companies for the magazine ”Computer Bulletin”. This is when IT came into my life. Cultural writer for the magazine “Jackpot” of Bankernes Markedsføringssamarbejde (a group of local banks). I made features, interviews and wrote about music, film cultural events and youth in general Writer and for a period editor at the café magazine ”Manhattan”. I wrote about culture.
