Through the internship I had the opportunity to contribute with my competencies and abilities from my educational programmes. I gained interpersonal skills and communicative skills towards my team in a professional manner, but also experienced the social aspects of being part of a team full time. Communicating with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the internship, have increased my confidence in my linguistic level and possible contributions in a work setting. The internship evolved around a company-wide change initiative, where I was given an individual project according to the original project plan for the year. This project was entirely my responsibility to plan and execute. In this project, i balanced the needs of the customers on one side and the possibilities of developers on the other side. The nature of the project enabled communication and collaboration across multiple departments in LEGO. The internship tested every aspect of my academic knowledge, abilities and competencies. Culminating in a very steep learning curve.
