Main responsible for the tourism strategy and the tourism development iniciatives in the Ringkøbing Skjern Municipality. I am working in creating the 2nd biggest tourism destination in Denmark with more than 8 mio. commercial overnight stays. Part of that process is recruiting staff, manager, strategy- and capacity building and development of new tourism experiences and implement sustainability into the new tourism strategy so it is contributing to the UN Sustainability Goals.A big part of my job is relation building and networking. Also I am the international coordinator of Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality which keeps me updated on new project and funding possibilities. I am supervising colleagues in creating new project and I also know how to write project applications and manage even small and big EU-projects. I am part of NECSTouR - a big european tourism NGO - where I am a part of the Executive Committee. Have participated in developing the new NECSTouR strategy and I am working with advocacy keeping tourism on the EU-target.
