BP Gulf Of Mexico (GOM) Brownfield Topsides Project Modifications:+ Issue / maintain piping and valve material specifications using SmartPlant Reference Data (SPRD). + Wall thickness calculations per ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8. + Development/review of technical, design and purchasing specifications for all piping components including specialty (SP) items.+ Review of valve metallic/elastomer materials for suitability for design / operating service conditions.

Providing technical support to various operating locations within the U.S.: California (3Q10-2Q11), Gulf of Mexico (2Q09-3Q10), Rockies (1Q08 – 2Q09). + Project Management of most activities from project opportunity conceptualization through ongoing cost-tracking of these activities and regular report-outs to management on progress.+ Ensuring mechanical integrity of pressurized equipment, piping, and pipeline through non- destructive testing (NDT) and evaluating results to determine if fit-for-service.+ Lead and develop corrosion-mitigation repairs (internal / external) as per inspection findings or after a loss-of-containment event. This includes developing coatings work-scopes, recommending suitable repair methods for corroded piping / vessels / pipelines (including replacements).+Technical oversight on recommendations to ensure cathodic-protection (CP) of offshore structures and onshore/offshore pipelines.+ Asset surveillance as pertaining to internal / external corrosion control via corrosion coupons, chemical injection, fluid monitoring, and NDT (as previously mentioned).
