After completing a 2 year migration project I was ready for a new challenge and have been very lucky to find one in an environment I know very well. During the last 2 years the web platform for Tui-STO has moved from ASP to Java. Since December I have been on 2 Java courses and am now working with the new web team on all the Tui-STO websites once again.

Initiated and completed consolidation project for the 21 content databases within SHGInstalled a new environment for the AO CMS using Mac OS X Server, 3 Xserve G5’s with the Xserve RAIDInstalled PrimeBase 4.2 database and application server on OS X. In a team of 3 developers and 1 manager we developed Crystal Travel Groups, Magic Travel Groups, Simply Travel, Spanish Harbors, Jetsave Travel, Thomson Cities, Thomson Ski & Thomson Lakes websites onto a Windows ASP environment. As the team grew I took on a supervisory role for the content flow of all databases. This involved overseeing the publication of 57 different brands (brochure and web) up to 3 times a year. My role included developing communication between the Product, e-commerce and Production departments.

Developed websites for the Crystal Travel Group. Implemented an Content Database using PrimeBase on a Apple Mac platform for production and I wrote an extract script to generate all the HTML pages for Resorts and Accommodation giving the websites a static page that was dynamic from a nightly build.
