I’m a Health & Safety professional within excess of 16 years’ relevant experience working in the Construction and Petrochemical industry. I started my Health & Safety career as a Safety Officer and have subsequently progressed through the ranks to a mid-level HSE Management position.I have worked on several large Projects in the Saudi Arabia including Jazan IGCC, Yanbu YASREF Refinery Project, SATORP Refinery and Petrochemical Project, KASUT University Project and Saudi Kayan Petrochemicals Project with work scopes including civils, electrical, piping, mechanical, instrumentation, structural steel, cranes and rigging, SIMOPS, pre-commissioning and commissioning. These Projects have provided me with an opportunity in dealing with large workforces from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. As a result of my experience on these Projects, I’m fully conversant with Saudi Aramco and SABIC requirements, various Codes of Practices as well as Saudi Arabian legislation. I am a Safety Professional with an enthusiastic approach to Health & Safety issues and have excellent communication skills where I interface with EPC Contractor, Contractor and Client personnel alike.In addition to my HSE responsibilities in the field, I can compile various HSE Reports and statistics as well as coordinating incident and accident investigations. I attend daily Coordination Meetings in addition to the regular HSE Meetings which I also attend. I also participate in the monthly auditing for general contractors.
