- Led from the front to build the TallyEdge - Tally's "Account Aggregator" (RBI Regulated NBFC-AA platform) solution. Right from proposal stage, helping Tally obtain the in-principle approval from RBI to setup the Tally Account Aggregator Org, building the product from ground up and passing the product through a strictest InfoSec audit and obtaining final approval from RBI to go live. - Enhancing Tally's ePayment options for its customers- Providing engineering leadership to the team building the best of the breed database for next generation Tally products.

• Spearheading the complete engineering activities for four healthcare IT product development teams with overall engineering headcount of around 100 in Bangalore. • Working in close coordination with the US teams, ensuring high quality output and at the same time ascertaining high levels of employee engagement, satisfaction and minimum attrition.• Instrumental in setting up certain teams from ground up.• Inculcated and encouraged the module ownership model for the Bangalore team and brought in ownership around delivering the enhancements from requirement stage, enhanced architecture, sustaining activities and L3 support – including customer escalations.• Increased the value element in the product deliveries beyond business goals by promoting culture of innovation which resulted in certain ideas making it to the product roadmap and/or patent filing.• Spearheaded the quality improvement effort for my BU’s (Payer Life Science) products, which resulted in very low defect leakage to production, very low defect backlog, improved customer satisfaction and contributed to revenue growth. This also made my BU stand out in terms of quality metrics across all BUs in Allscripts. • Operated as the member of Allscripts IDC’s management council for over four years and ensured smooth operations across three locations in India. • Additionally, responsible the operational aspects within product development teams of the business unit.

• Played a key role in establishing a Bangalore based product development team in Misys for one of the Healthcare products of Allscripts.• Setup another small engineering team for initiating product development activities of another product in Bangalore. • Proven track record of delivering the project ahead of time or on schedule and within the quality standards.• Credited with the project being recognized and awarded as “Project of the Year” amongst the 20 entries in the year 2009.

• Responsible for end-to-end delivery of customized solutions of out-of-the-box software product (Everest). • Worked closely with the sales team to identify a solution as per the customer requirements, testing its feasibility, project planning and development with no alteration to base product’s source. • This eventually turned out become one of the key sales enablers which in-turn help the organization win bigger deals. • Led and managed a team of 12 members including business analysts, developers and testers. • Operated as a Scrum Master and led the development of “eStoreFront”. This was a part of project to transition existing ASP based e-commerce product to .Net with new architecture.

• Handled the maintenance and improvisation of product architecture, product framework, and technology renewal/migration and database maintenance/normalization. • Managed entire non-functional recruitments and led a team of 10-14 people spread across Bangalore and USA including developers, tech designers, DB designer, Business Analysts and UI designer. • Steered the implementation of “Scrum” based agile software development methodology in Everest R&D.
