Established and directed the business across the region of 5 countries ensuring that business needs were understood and addressed from both a customer and company perspective

• Successfully launched and built a business in South Asia to achieve US$50 million in the region in the first five years of operation.• Hired, trained and built a competent 15 member sales force and a 4 member technical support team• Built a comprehensive distribution channel compiled of distributors, own warehouse and direct channels to reach 5 countries across South Asia.• Built a strong key customer base in the region driven by relationships built personally by me. • Launching over 20 products in 4 categories in 5 countries in the region. • Managed the company’s flagship product in the APEC region to achieve US$80 million

• Embracing, successfully applying and coaching the unique Cargill Green Book culture of achieving profitable growth through customer satisfaction, engaged employees and enriched communities into the Sri Lankan and Hanoi businesses. • Leading Employee Engagement Surveys held annually in Cargill and developing action plans to address the issues in the survey. Achieved 61% employee satisfaction in Hanoi compared to 47% of my predecessor, through successfully developing and implementing an effective action plan researching and integrating local cultural needs. This was an exceptional accomplishment considering the language barrier.• Practicing a modern 360 degree HR system with clearly defined performance expectations and training needs which are reviewed bi-annually. Championing and coaching employee reward and recognition programs to achieve engaged employees and develop world class employees.• Leading and implementing a worldwide Safety initiative into the business units managed by me to achieve zero lost time accident over the past 5 years.• A member of the Vietnam leadership team that was selected ‘The Most Successful Business in Cargill Animal Nutrition Division’ worldwide in 2003.
