On Wag! I'm the lead developer of our android application. I'm responsible of integrating new features that help Wag! to deliver a great experience to our clients.

On Pocket Supernova I started as an Android Developer developing our main product Pocket Video, which is a video editor application for mobile phones. We use native code and Parse as a backed.I also contribute to the iOS version of the Pocket Video. Pocket Video on iOS is using Objective-C and Parse as a backend.On Pocket Supernova I was also responsible of the migration of parse to our own installation of Parse Server hosted on AWS. We also use S3 for storing video files from our users, Cloudfront for the distribution of the files and OneSignal for push notifications.

Started on the backend I developed the API that will be consumed by our mobile clients. The API was based on PHP + Slim Framework and MySQL, hosted on EC2 + Elastic Load Balancer. We also used several other AWS services as SES for sending transactional emails, and SNS for sending push notifications.I also contributed to the Frontend. The application is a drag and drop page builder that allowed our users to create digital magazines that were to be consumed on iOS and Android Clients. The fronted was build using HTML 5 and Javascript + JQuery and some additional plugins as JQueryUI for the drag and drop part.Finally I created the Android client using native code. The client used SQLite for locally caching the information provided by the API, IntentServices for consuming the API and Loaders (CursorLoaders).

My main responsibility was the maintenance of several applications developed using PHP with a few frameworks like ZendFramework and CakePHP, MySQL and Javascript + JQuery.I also had the opportunity to lead a team in the development of one application that was used by one of the Fortune 500 companies around the world. During this process I was responsible of being in contact with the client, gathering the requirements of the application, designing the architecture and leading the development.
