Completed my final year Research at Professor Segun Adeola Laboratory: "Isolation and characterization of partially purified cysteine protease inhibitor from the fruit of Pyrus communis (Pear)"•Spearheaded a group of five in conducting the research, collation of results, presentation of findings and took charge of the ethical use and maintenance of materials and equipment used.•Committed to ensuring the team maintained scientific rigor throughout the research.•Gained firsthand experience on isolation of protein, defatting protein using the soxhlet technique, protein dialysis, ion exchange chromatography, Gel filtration chromatography, spectrophotometric analysis and statistical analysis using Graph pad prism.
