I have been advising clients since 1995 focusing on Commercial and business law matters, especially in the fields of IP. I have long litigation experience specialising in trademarks, patents, industrial design and unfair competition matters, and I have represented Spanish and foreign companies in numerous proceedings, before Spanish and Community Courts, and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). I have also experience in Copyright, Corporate Law, Antitrust, Arbitration, and I provide general advice in the negotiation of contracts, especially in technology transfer and licencing issues. I advise on pre-litigious strategies and also non-litigation matters such as contracts, negotiation of court settlements and mediation. I am also an arbitrator at the Court of arbitration of the Madrid Bar. I was President of the Spanish group of AIPPI between 2009 and 2013. I have authored numerous publications on Industrial property issues, and other commercial law topics. I regularly lecture at different universities and institutions (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Magister Lvcentinus of the University of Alicante, School of Industrial Organization –EOI-) in the areas of patents and industrial designs. I graduated from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. I hold a PhD in law from the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as an LL.M from Columbia University in New York. I speak Spanish, English and French.
