I am an orthopedic surgeon and entrepreneur. I recently did a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Hult International Business School in Boston and also a Master in Disruptive Innovation at Hult San Francisco.I approved my Orthopedic residency at the University of Valparaiso, School of Medicine in Valparaiso, Chile, with the highest grade, during that time, I spent eight months in an outstanding learning experience in Barcelona, Spain. In my last academic challenges, I proudly belonged to the dean's list in both the MBA and also in the Master in Disruptive Innovation at Hult International Business School in the United States, finishing with Academic Distinction.I have been working in Arica, Chile, in 3 different health institutions from 2005 to 2018. I always try to keep ahead of the field, so in 2015, I completed a Research Fellowship in a Level-I Trauma Centre in Leeds, UK.As an entrepreneur, I felt that my hometown needed better education for the next generation, so I helped to create a new school in 2010 (Azapa Valley School) where I am a Co-Founder & Chairman of the Board of the Directors.One of my primary goals is to merge my background and my new skills to bring our school in Chile to the next level and link it to the global world. I firmly believe that supporting new leaders from early stages is a perfect opportunity to build a modern society where our children could generate a significant impact via value-creating and trust-based learning process. Also, I feel confident that with a growth mindset, empathy, teamwork, and knowledge, we can adequately address this VUCA world.
