Day to Day contact with multiple Westrock sites and Management.Trains other functional area personnel on key financial metrics and company policy issues.Strive to constantly present method improvements for plant efficiencies resulting in profit improvement.Lead and support Business Unit efforts to reduce working capital and related components resulting in the maximization of cash flow opportunities for the company.Works with other functional areas in executing credit, accounts receivable and inventory controls and measured performance. Participate in AR Collection Team efforts.Lead and support inventory reporting, accuracy and valuation.Works with both internal and external auditors and is rated by these groups on the area teams measured performance.Build relationships with both internal and external customers.Analyze problems / issues as identified and participate in providing solutions.Become knowledgeable in various financial and operating systems in order to provide support and direction as the business requires.Responsible for the statutory financial reporting compliance with the government of Puerto Rico, including the filing requirements, payments, etc. in coordination with the external auditors and tax preparers.
