Reviews invoices for proper PO authorization in order to commit data to the appropriate PO system. Checks mathematical accuracy of invoice. Prepares invoice by indicating vendor number on the invoice. Compares vendor name and/ or vendor number of source document to system information for identical match.Input invoice data into the system, by accessing the data base appropriate for the type of expenditure being processed: Purchased Transportation (Pegasus, Fleet Management-FM & TMW); Marine Operations, Purchasing & Materials, and Miscellaneous Operating (Lawson); Land Operations (Common Carrier – CICS), and Marine Operations (NS5).Verifies application of sales and use tax according to processing procedures delineated in the AP desk manual, and in accordance with system requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.
