Defining and implementing financial strategies for Mexico and Guatemala operations, covering the areas of accounting, taxes, inventory control, reporting, credit and collection, treasury, internal audit, indirect purchasing, accounts payable, managing assets of around 100MUSD and some shared services attending 3 companies of the TBC Corporation group. Reporting to the General Director in Mexico and to the VP and Controller in TBC Corporation, with a team of 50 Associates. Achievements:• Directed and implemented improvements in the credit al collection area, as well as aligned controls and indicators to the business requirements, reducing the past due aging from 6% to 3% during the first year and decreasing the bad debt rate from .12% to .07%. • Defined the 3 key elements to be included in the bonus compensation plan for the commercial team (Branch Manager, Brand Manager and commercial Subdirectors), contributing in the financial objectives in 2020 and 2021, obtaining an EBITDA growth of around 35% and the decreasing in the accounts receivable past due of around 50%.• Collaborated in the definition of the business strategies for the 2020 to 2025 years identifying and evaluating every project, surpassing in around 10% the financial stablished targets during 2020 and 2021 years• Lead some strategies to mitigate risks due to the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic in the cash flow generation and strategically collaborated with some other business areas in managing risk identified in inventories, distribution and sales contributing in the cash generation of around 25MUSD•Colaborated the SAP implementation by the finance perspective concluding with local operative and fiscal requirements, a matrix of possible scenarios to run the testing process and a cutover plan.• Lead the integration of the TBC de México finance team and the TBC Corporation finance team, ensuring the policies and procedures alignment, as well as the definition of a new finance area more efficient.

Responsible for accounting, taxes, inventory control reporting, treasury, internal audit, indirect purchasing, human resources, security, payroll, accounts payable and some share services provided to 3 companies in US. Reporting to the Finance Director and to the VP and controller in TBC Corporation, with a team of 70 Associates.Achievements:• Lead the standardization of the branches´ operation (invoicing, warehousing and administration), getting important improvements in the internal control process decreasing inventory and accounts receivable deviations in around 30%.• Designed and implemented an operational internal audit model, currently used, that contributed in the internal control improvements in the 45 branches and distribution centers, stablishing evaluation metrics segmenting them as high risk, medium risk and low risk locations, getting only 5 locations in high risk in 1 year from 22 at the beginning of the exercise.• Directed and implemented with the HR department a virtual training platform for all the branches´ positions, obtaining from the Federal Government a national award of 2014 having all the knowledge in only one place and available for all employees.• Lead an expenses reduction project, with savings of around 50% in communication cost and 5% in distribution costs.• Lead with the Logistic Director a security committee, reducing the vehicles and merchandise robberies in around 75%.• Collaborated in the definition and implementation of the business strategies during the 2010 to 2018 years, obtaining annual growths of around 20% in EBITDA• Actively participated in the due diligence process representing the seller in the Mexican shares’ valuation ensuring the quality of the information required, managing the time and concluding properly and correctly.• I was part of the 3 key Executives included in a retention program by the 2011-2016 period

Reporting to the controller, with a team of 10 Associates.Achievements:• Implemented improvements in the JD Edwards and accounting process, ensuring the reliability of the process and financial information, getting every monthly closing, yearly closing and the taxes computation properly and in the stablished dates.• Lead and implemented the finance policies and procedures as well as the department´s indicators.
