-Promoted legislative efforts that center on educational rights for veterans, their spouses and/or other dependents by researching, summarizing and providing a comprehensive understanding of a variety of bills and policies and their significance for veterans in higher education.-Represented Student Veterans of America in House Committee on Veteran Affairs and Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs hearings.-Collaborated with other Veteran Service Organizations advocating for veteran education success in Congress as well as support veteran outreach programs centered in general well-being and connectedness such as the Veterans Creed, Transition Assistance Programs (TAP), and more. -Assisted with social media promotional efforts on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms, giving publicity to the mission of the organization, its different programs available to other veterans and other legislative highlights.-Provided recommendation and constructive feedback to SVA proposal committee on 8 proposals for 2019 SVA National Convention. -Responsible for the creation of a draft for a Congressional speech to be presented by members of Congress during the 2019 SVA National Convention reception.
