I have over 20 years of experience in the credit risk area. During my journey in this field, I have had the opportunity to create and lead a pan-Baltic team of lawyers, credit risk officers and vindication specialists in the leading leasing company of the Baltics. The biggest success story was implementing automated decision-making models in all Baltic countries, which add great value to business performance. In recent years, I am proud to have been contributing to the bank’s great success together with my teams of credit risk modelers, credit risk officers, risk analysts and vindication specialist in the Baltic and Nordic countries. The team has been responsible for credit risk management, developing scoring and ECL models, establishing NPL management strategies and calculation of regulatory stress-testing. I am especially proud of bringing model estimates of new sales, ECL models and forecasting of loan-loss allowances into one homogenous framework. I have extensive experience in developing and maintaining credit procedures and bringing banking regulations into practice. I am not a modelling expert, but I have great knowledge of scoring models' lifecycle and experience in developing automated decision-making processes. I have good analytical and strong decision-making skills, I think clearly under pressure, preferring facts over emotional judgement.As a leader, I'm currently managing a team with more than 20 employees. I seek to establish a trustworthy atmosphere by creating commitment within the team and contributing to the personal development of each team member.
