Helped to plan, design and implement back-end components for Enterprise Mobility Management suite leveraging Node.js. With this suite, IT Admins have the ability to manage mobile devices for their employees, including the ability to provision new accounts with third party services such as Box.com and Vonage.com. An IT Admin will allow an employee to have a new business phone number WITHIN their phone by downloading and configuring the Dell EMM app on their mobile phone. This technology also allows employees to bring their own device (BYOD) and enables a layer to separate work from personal information. If an employee loses their phone, an IT Admin would be able to lock or clear data within the EMM app ensuring no confidential business information gets leaked or stolen.Also worked on an initiative to offer a SaaS software product catalog to external clients coming in to Dell.com. Customers could test drive Dell software on a VM in the cloud while interfacing with Sales Engineers efficiently. My team developed the product from the ground up. I worked in the Tivoli division during this internship, installing and running quality assurance tests for a product called Access Manager for Operating Systems (AMOS). This product allows clients to quickly and securely configure various user-level settings and access on computers based on the users credentials.Ran test cases against various revisions of AMOS on distributed Linux servers internally at IBM and tested integrity of upgrade patches. I reported any bugs found to software development group.Wrote Perl script to verify signatures of individual computers with new AMOS installations against known-good signatures in a central database.
