Senior Software DeveloperDell Jan 2013 - Oct 2015Round Rock, Texas, UsHelped to plan, design and implement back-end components for Enterprise Mobility Management suite leveraging Node.js. With this suite, IT Admins have the ability to manage mobile devices for their employees, including the ability to provision new accounts with third party services such as Box.com and Vonage.com. An IT Admin will allow an employee to have a new business phone number WITHIN their phone by downloading and configuring the Dell EMM app on their mobile phone. This technology also allows employees to bring their own device (BYOD) and enables a layer to separate work from personal information. If an employee loses their phone, an IT Admin would be able to lock or clear data within the EMM app ensuring no confidential business information gets leaked or stolen. Also worked on an initiative to offer a SaaS software product catalog to external clients coming in to Dell.com. Customers could test drive Dell software on a VM in the cloud while interfacing with Sales Engineers efficiently. My team developed the product from the ground up. We leveraged Java EE, Jersey, Postgres, ActiveMQ, Hibernate, JBoss and AWS for the backend and Angular.js for the front-end. We managed various environments with the help of Jenkins, Bamboo, Chef, GIT and Artifactory. Testing was done via JUnit with Mockito and Selenium. Developers worked in an AGILE environment. Spent 70% of time coding, 20% design, 10% dev-ops and hands on QA.LEARN MORE:http://software.dell.com/solutions/enterprise-mobility-management/ -
