Selected as a part of a winning team specially assembled to develop the first telematics aftermarket module done by Delphi. Performing as the Lead Product Systems Engineer throughout the life of the project all the way from initial design concept stage to product development and production launch stage. This team fully designed and manufactured the Telematics product in Mexico.As Lead Product System Engineer main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-Act as the main technical point of contact during and after project development.- Responsible to provide Global Technical Direction, Leadership, Coaching and Supervision to entire cross- functional design teams (Delphi HQ- Troy Mi, Delphi MTC – Mexico and Delphi QTC - Mexico) throughout 3 different world-wide design sites during all Product Design, Development Process Cycle & Product Launch Phases.-Assist customers in writing the Customer Requirements Document using IBM Rational DOORS . -Develop Product Definition Documents for all competencies using IBM Rational DOORS.-Develop the Product Mechanization Drawing.-Develop Product Components Design charts using either Microsoft Visio or Enterprise Architect by Sparx.-Participate in Technical reviews with other engineering areas.-Assist all competencies on the creation of their own design and validation specs.-Participate on customer and internal PDT meetings.-System Estimation-Coordinate releases content with engineering staff together with Project Management Competency to achieve on-time Project Milestones and Customer Deliveries based on efforts and schedules.-Maintain requirements documentation. Work with both customer and other Delphi personnel to develop, analyze and allocate requirements for the product and their traceability to customer requirements using DOORS.-Develop and execute system level tests for the product on vehicle and systems benches.-Assist customer in the vehicle validation activity.-Post Start of Production (SOP) Support.

As Product System Engineer for PODS-B ECU* general responsibilities included:-Provide technical leadership to the development team related to product performance. Recognized by the team and the customer as the system level technical expert of my product. -Maintain requirements documentation-Work with both customer and other Delphi personnel to develop, analyze and allocate requirements for the specific product.-Coordinate and review testing of the product to make sure that the identified performance requirements are met.-Develop and execute system level tests for the product on vehicle and systems benches.-Research performance issues with the product and coordinate the resolution of component issues with the rest of the team.-Systems Engineer responsible of new company’s business with new customer Mahindra and Mahindra performing Delphi’s product development process for deliveries and production launch. -Systems Engineer responsible for second larger Delphi customer for PODS-B ECU PBU with zero complaints from customer, on time deliveries and production lunches.* PODS technology is designed to classify the occupant seated in the front passenger seat for potential airbag suppression.

Mainly focused on customer requirements verification. Design, development and execution of Functional Test Procedures (FTP’s). Ensure the credibility of the product development process by direct examination of the resulting product. Develop, implement, and execute test plans and automated test scripts and review test plans and specifications with developers and others. Involve in the execution and development of new automated tests. Promote the special skills, focus, reuse, tools, high standards and techniques used in product functional verification. Submit and verify product issues through Change Synergy Database (IBM Rational).
