I am currently seeking a part or full time position as a purchasing/procurement agent, buyer, coordinator or as an outside consultant. I have specifically worked in the Interior Design Industry the majority of my career but feel that I can apply my knowledge and experience with many other industries that have a purchasing/procurement department or entity.As a seasoned procurement professional of Hotel and Residential furnishings at major purchasing firms with extensive experience in the procurement of furniture, fixtures and equipment, I have been looking for a position where I can help a firm fine tune their objectives with my experience and suggestions. I have project managed high end hotel and residential projects, which consisted of initial project bidding, budget analysis, interaction with clients, interior designers, architects and general contractors, price negotiations with manufacturers, procurement, accounting, expediting, logistics and installation supervision. My experience allows me to work at any purchasing skill level as part of a team helping with every phase of a companies scope of work and/or project(s). I enjoy the purchasing process immersing myself in my work to bring satisfaction and successful results to the company I’m working for. I have managed projects both locally and overseas.
