Driven to generate a relevant impact through robotics.Once I started my university studies, I was eager to learn, I wanted to acquire skills, code, and automate devices, as well as getting hands-on experience with sensors and actuators. Therefore, together with some colleagues, we decided to create a robotics group, during my time as president of the group we were able to acquire knowledge in different fields of robotics, and at the same time, we were able to share our knowledge with our community. I found that just wonderful, as I could feel that we were having an impact on ourselves and other members of the community. That eagerness to learn and desire to continuously improve has also guided me towards other exciting journeys, such as being part of Disney’s International College Program (ICP) in Walt Disney World, where I was able to consolidate my English skills, learn how to work under pressure and understand how one of the most magical and important companies in the world works.Another relevant experience in my journey has been being part of the "Deutsches Hochschulkonsortium für Internationale Kooperationen" (DHIK) double degree program. Which gave me the chance of studying in Germany and learning about computer vision and neural networks (which are topics I am now deeply passionate about) as well as improving my German skills. Furthermore, as part of the program, I also had to do an internship and thesis, I was given the opportunity of carrying out both as part of Siemens Healthineers, where I was able to take part in a variety of projects (mainly related to the radiography portfolio), develop paper/patent research and project planning/presentation skills, moreover, I had the chance to refine my coding skills in C++, C#, Java, SQL, and Python as well as to develop/improve skills in frameworks, platforms and software such as ROS, PCL, MoveIt, TensorFlow, Nodejs, Amazon Web Services, Gazebo, Unity, and MySQL.I am forever grateful for the opportunities that I have been given and the people I have met along the way. The journey so far has been exciting, and I am motivated to continue my professional career coding solutions for robotics perception and machine learning problems that will help us create a better place for those around us or will revolutionize the way we live.
