Responsible for defining the Product Strategy to support Ultimate Software business goals: Growth, Customer Satisfaction and Innovation. Responsible for a team of more than 50 people that ideates, prototypes and develops all new Ultimate Software compelling solutions that simplify people’s work lives and engage them: in the People, Pay & Time and Technology Platform Domains.Some examples of these new solutions are:• New Payroll Calculation Engine: Replacement of the payroll backend calculation engine to support the compliance needs of more than 3,000 customers in USA and Canada, some organizations have as few as 300 employees to very large ones with more than 200,000 employees.• Onboarding/Talent Acquisition solution: development of a fully engaging solution for new hires and covering all administration and compliance needs in the HR Departments that with more than 50 new customers activated in less than 6 months.• Self-Service Data Exchange: opening Ultipro, Ultimate Software flagship product, for data imports and exports, reducing the amount of time required by the Service Organization to implement custom data exchanges by 50% and improving operating margins by more than $1M in less than a year.We build solutions at Ultimate putting people first, it means our focus is on employees', managers', HR Leaders' and C-Level individuals' user experiences that fulfill their needs.Working closely with Customers, Prospects, Services, Sales and Operations to identify and prioritize new business needs.

Managing Critical Business Initiatives identified by the Professional Services organization leaders to achieve specific business goals that require the development of new features in Ultimate Software products.As part of the job duties, I manage a team that defines the success criteria and product backlog to be implemented by our development teams. Critical Business Initiatives status are reported monthly to Ultimate Software Chief Technology Officer and Chief Services Offices.Three Critical Business Initiatives are being implemented so far with a substantial impact in the business, improving operational margins and customer satisfaction.

Responsible for Product Definition of Technical components of Ultipro: Security, Workflow, Configurability, Integration and Business Intelligence.Successfully defined and implemented by a team of 20+ Product Managers and Product Analysts the following areas of the product:- Fully Configurable processes using Platform Configurability Tools so that customers can fully adapt Ultipro to their business needs. - Self-Service Integration tools for our customers to define imports/exports of/into Ultipro by themselves with an excellent user experience.- Ultipro Carrier Network that supports sending Benefits and Payroll data to Carriers by providing standard templates to our customers.- New Unified Data Tier that moves data from the transactional database into a separate repository to allow multidimensional analysis through Employee Lifecycle data.- Extended multifactor authentication mechanisms.

Responsible for a team of Technical Account Managers that positions the Oracle technology stack: from Database, Real Application Clusters, Options to Middleware: Portals, SOA(ESB, BPM,ODI), ECM, BI, IDM, ... at customers and partners from a value selling perspective defining current Enteprise Architectures, future ones and a roadmap to get there.As part of the extended sales team at Oracle, we also look after the customers projects, respond to RFI/RFPs, manage Proof of Concepts, etc.

Responsible for closing some very important deals of Sun SOA technology in the Public Sector (Gerencia de Informatica de la Seguridad Social, Sanidad de Cantabria) as well as managing the relationship with existing customers (Carrefour, Credit Andorra, Modelo Continente, ...)During the first year and a half I worked as a Sales Consultant at SeeBeyond that was acquired by Sun Microsystems in 2005.
