Physical Therapist, PhD in Pain Research by the King Juan Carlos I University, MSc in Manual Physiotherapy in the Alcalá University (Spain). I have focused my professional development for more than 13 years to the Primary Health Care, both, in the clinical area, and in the development of the body knowledge in the physiotherapy in this field. Editor since 2010 of the blog "Physiotherapy in Primary Care" currently located on my personal website (www.raulferrer.org). Lecturer of the Faculty of Health Sciences at La Salle University Centre (www.lasallesalud.es), attached to the Autonomous University of Madrid; focusing my teaching activity on the areas of Community Physiotherapy, Administration and Management in Physiotherapy, and Orthopaedic Manual Therapy. Marketing and Communication Coordinator of the Faculty in relation to the degrees of Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and Podiatry. Member of the Institute of Neurosciences and Movement Sciences (INCIMOV) and of the Motion in Brains group (www.incimov.com), currently with 15 publications in international and national journals indexed in Pubmed and the JCR. Clinical Physiotherapist collaborating in the Institute of Functional Rehabilitation (www.irflasalle.es). Aware of the need for web-based tools as a turning point in the advancement of physiotherapy, I have repeatedly collaborated as a speaker, moderator and organizer of events related to "Physiotherapy 2.0", as well as author of several related publications. Member #001, founder and current President of the "Fisioterapia Sin Red" Association. I have actively participated in the development of initiatives with great impact in the spanish eHealth sector such as "Mi Vida Sin Ti", "Diferencia-T", #Sherpas20 or #SaludSinBulos, and involved in Smart Dyspnea Project. Interested in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning en Health Care environments, and their influence in the Patient (customer) Experience.
